In 1994, World Cup Soccer was a very popular tournament in the United States. As a result, a pinball machine was designed by Bally/Williams in order to capture the spirit and excitement of the game. Luckily, John Papadiuk and the design team knew what they were doing and brought it to a level nobody would have expected. The game plays very well and has enough goodies thrown in to make it stand out amongst the crowd. The goal shot is always rewarding (Goooaalllll!!!!) and the TV Awards are fun to complete. Plus, the Final Draw multiball is great and only outmatched by the eventual trip to Los Angeles, home of the World Cup Finals. WCS'94 is a great soccer and family-themed game that appeals to both fans and non-fans of the sport itself.
