NO GOOD GOFERS

"The PIN everyone will GO-fer!"

Member of my collection: 2005

Pat Lawlor has always been one of my favorite designers. In 1997, he brought a more "cartooney" look to the pinball world with a game called No Good Gofers. It had the classic Lawlor layers of stuff to shoot for along with a beautiful light show, funny speech clips and a unique set of playfield toys (pop-up gofers, spinning wheel, slam ramp to shoot the ball onto an upper playfield, etc.). It also had tons of flow, something not always found in a Lawlor game. Unfortunately, NGG was not very well received. Many enthusiasts didn't like its "cartooney" appearance and also felt it was too similar in layout and rules to other previous Lawlor designs. I, on the other hand, embraced it. Lately, many others have begun to as well. With only a rumored 2,000 +/- produced, NGG is a fun and unique late-model Williams pin to add to anyone's collection! "Go-fer it!!!"
