I can recall paying CFTBL only a few times. However, for those brief moments, I was having fun. Even though I had very little playtime on the game, CFTBL made my mental "want-to-own" list.

I originally saw CFTBL in a local bowling alley around 1993. At first glance, I was stunned at its somewhat cluttered upper playfield. Once I played my first few games though, I realized this was just eye-candy. CFTBL had good ball flow and a challenging unique design. I don't think I ever achieved the Jackpot on the game. However, seeing the creature hologram for the first time was worth the price of admission.

After playing the game at this initial location, I never saw CFTBL again until the York show in 2002. The unfortunate thing is I was so wrapped up at my first pinball show, I only got a chance to play one game. The creature basically alluded my grasp once again.
