MY GAME

Creature arrived in my collection October 2002. Dan Heatherly, a guy I met at the York show, had picked the machine up and driven it down to my home. It's always nice to hang out with fellow collectors and pinheads.

The game was in great condition. The previous owner touched-up a few areas on the front and then clear-coated the entire cabinet. The playfield didn't seem to show any signs of wear (either on the plastics, artwork, or parts). The snack bar scoop hole had "average" damage but was eventually protected with Cliffy's bracket. And the game played like a rocket.

Farewell:

After almost 1 and 1/2 years in my arcade, Creature was eventually picked up by a collector in Ohio (January 2004). As is always the case, I'm glad CFTBL ended up in a good home!

MISC. CFTBL UPDATES:

August 8, 2003: Installed new "Monsters" sticker to the apron.

December 9, 2002: I noticed that a pair of backbox flashers weren't working (both of which were tied into the Fliptronics II board). Someone had removed the far left TIP 36C transister from the Fliptronics II board causing both sockes not to get any "juice". I ordered a new TIP 36C and replaced it, all flashers now work!!

December 5, 2002: Installed Cliffy's scoop hole protector.

November 1, 2002: Placed an order for the "Monster" apron sticker and Cliffy's scoop protector.
