This was taken from a post by Robert Winter in 1999 to the rec.games.pinball newsgroup. It had an exclusive interview with Mr. Nordman on the various cuts made to SS at different stages of its life. METHOD: Take some overhead transparency paper (for overhead projectors). With a computer paint program, size a new project at 8.5 x 11 inches. Block out 50% of the page with bright red. Then "print" onto the transparency paper. Afterward, replace the paper onto your printer and do a second pass (this will deepen the color). You may notice streak marks. However, you will not notice them once installed.
Remove the beast head and "red" bulb covers (2). Cut a block of the transparency and epoxy (or hot glue) to the back of the head. Make sure the block covers both eye openings. Cut a second block, and secure it to the first. Doubling up will dull the lamps underneath and look awesome. Replace the head. The end!
