MY STORY

My earliest recollections of playing Earthshaker would be at two different locations. One was at our local mall (Millcreek Mall) inside the "Red Baron Arcade". The other was in a gameroom at the West-side Putt Putt Golf 'n Games. Neither one was particularly close to me, so I did not get a chance to play it as often as I would have liked.

However, when I did, I was hooked. The shaker-motor was such an awesome concept at the time. In fact, the first time it ever activated I thought the game had busted a gut. I honestly thought I broke the game and the arcade manager would toss me in jail. I had no idea what was going on.

And........oh my........did she say "Bitchin''? My young Virgin ears were destroyed forever. Thanks Williams.

I was, as seemed the case with a lot of System-11 games, drawn to the music in ESHK. It had a really cool beat and fit the theme perfectly. I would often take my mini-cassette with me to record the sounds and music. I know, I was sick. But hell, I was 12.

Overall, I knew ESHK would be a game I needed to buy someday for my nostalgia collection. I am truthfully surprised I waited so long. But, the wait is over and I found just the right one. :)
