Some games are revolutionary and set a new pinball milestone. The Addams Family was one such game. Not only did it do an amazing job staying true to the Addams' license, but it added fantastic goodies into the mix such as the Mansion Room Awards/Games (modes), excellent DMD usage, and the "Thing flips" feature amusing even the non-pinball player. Not to mention the game's beautiful artwork, fun multi-ball, wonderful music and quotes (some customized by the late Raul Julia/Gomez), ball grabbing "Thing" who lends a hand, and fabulous lightshow which attributed to its popularity. As a result, TAF became the best selling pinball of all time with over 22,000 machines produced and a "GOLD" edition (of 1,000) created as a tribute. These special features and much much more make Addams Family some-"thing" to behold!
