Welcome to the official "Oscar" website. An Erie and North East, PA world stage-premiere, "Oscar" was a one-time charity event adapted from the original gangster motion picture. It was performed at North East auditorium and ran for only twelve shows. The proceeds raised were given to the Erie County Historical Society and all extra set materials were donated to local community theaters (two excellent non-profit organizations). Some areas of the project also benefited other local community theaters. Please read any and all information regarding the show at this site including a synopsis, the birth of the show, cast biographies, progress photos and more.
