Removing the underside parts before clear-coating is said to be a good thing. I read that, because
of the various coats and sandings in the process, the underside parts can get very dirty and caked
with crap. Therefore, you'd have to remove each part to clean it anyway once the playfield
returns. Plus, I also
heard it's easier to ship. So, since this is my
first clear-coat job.......I figured I would
just do it right.
